Within the past year, I have really taken a huge interest in food. Why? Because the average person knows nothing about food…even I didn’t know anything about food before I started really thinking about it. The average American thinks that anything you buy at the grocery story that says ‘low-fat,’ ‘natural,’ ‘gourmet,’ ‘low-carb,’ low-sodium,’ or any such terms that seem like the food is totally good for you, they think they are eating or providing food to their family that is good for them. Even buying fruits and vegetables, while at least you are buying fruits and vegetables, which is a great start, it’s hard to imagine that possibly they might not be as good for you as you think.

So with the help my my sister studying in Seattle at Bastyr University and her influencing my knowledge about whole organic foods and how what you eat totally dictates how your body and mind will feel, I am discovering that food is an important part of life that every person should really give your full attention too. As my husband’s interest is playing guitar and making amazing music, my interest has become food and planning/cooking yummy organic meals.

I am all about whole, organic food. I consider myself vegetarian. Who would have thought I would LOVE eating vegetables?! They are SO tasty and filling, it’s amazing.

Bottom line, this blog is for me to keep track of what I cook up and to be able to share the yummy goodness with readers, like you!
